Sorry, meant to say his death is listed as June 3 on the California Death Index which is probably correct.. again, check the Venice newspaper or a researcher in Los Angeles County (such as RAOGK) to look up his obit and/or death certificate info which will list informants and/or next of kin.

There is a Thomas R. McQuillen living in Moscow (Muscatine Co.), IA (born 1955) which is only a couple counties over from Jones - and a Thomas McQuillen in San Jose, CA. Either may be a child, grandchild or other relative and worth seeking out! Leave no stone unturned. Just because you don't see a marriage listed right away for Thomas doesn't mean he wasn't, may have been a messy divorce along the way and just not mentioned. I have one relative like that who doesn't mention his first wife nor children in his obit.
