I have resolved the mystery of Alfred Siebels who is buried at Oakwood in Monticello. This bit of old family history was much more difficult than most hard to solve problems. Alfred was the Grandson of Menno and Maria Siebels, which explains why he is buried next to them. Alfreds mother is now known but his biological father is unknown, which to me explines the Siebels name on his gravestone at Oakwood in Monticello. In any event, Alfred was a child of our creator, and may God walk beside him in eternity!
