12/3/2017 UPDATE-Anna Barbara SCHOENHERR( This is the correct spelling)born 11/10/1823 by or near Ansbach may have had to 2 brothers(?) or relatives (?)in Jones County. In my research, I found in the 1870 Census: John Schoenherr (born 1816)age 53 from Bavaria and a TAILOR, wife Margrett Schoenherr age 37 from Switzerland. And George M Schoenherr age 41, wife Elizabeth Schoenherr age 26 from Switzerland. I believe Elizabeth Schoenherr’s maiden name was ROHE or ROHER. George M & Elizabeth SCHOENHERR had a daughter EVA SCHOENHERR born in 1879. Also in 1885, living with John & Margrett SCHOENHERR was a George F Schoenherr born in 1819. I was hoping to find my ggg Grandmother Anna Barbara Schoenherr Hein’s mother’s name but no such luck. I do know her father, my gggg Grandfather was John Schoenherr living near Ansbach. The names Barbara, Mary, Margaret & Eva were used frequently from generation to generation so I believe my gggg Grandmothers name was one of these names. Jennifer
