I know this thread is from several years ago, but I was wondering if anyone knew what happened to Joe Taylor after his wife and children entered into the Poor House? Joe would be my 3rd Great Grandfather and Eliza my 3 great grandmother. Please let me know if you have any information. I know Patti found information that says he abandoned the family and that is why they were sent to the Poor House, but I see here they were placed there because of an illness? Anyone know what illness? She was pregnant at the time with Lola. Both her and the baby died. Any information you have on this family would be great. Thank you. Christy.
