William Henry Blackmer

I am looking for information on William Henry Blackmer and his wife, Cynthia Ann Clothier. Blackmer may also be spelled Blackmar or Blackmarr. They had two children, William John Blackmer and Ada "Addie" May Blackmer. The latter was born in Wisconsin in either 1858 or 1860 and they moved to Iowa shortly thereafter. I cannot find either on the 1860 census, but it would appear that they both died between 1860 and 1870. I believe I have found an enlistment record for William H in 1863, so that is the last known time that he was alive. I have seen reference to Cynthia dying at the age of 30, which would be around 1862, but I have also seen reference to her death in 1869. Both children have been found living with other families on the 1870 census. Any information on William H would be very much appreciated.
