I looked into it more on the Ancestry site, and I found a marriage record for both your Acenath and mine, each to a different William Preston. So I believe they are two different women. Makes sense, as my Asenath seems to have only lived in the Madison village area of Jones County. My Asenath was older, born about 1803, if I remember correctly. Bill Smith contacted me, as I recall. If you look at previous queries on the link to this, I think you'll find a website for him.
