Missing Link

My great-grandfather is John C Tasker b April 5th, 1814 and g-grandmother is Mary Jane Paul Tasker b Dec. 6, 1820 of Columbiana County Ohio and Jones County Iowa. John C Tasker served in the state legislature with John Russell b. Oct 8th, 1821 and I have a copy of the eulogy Mr. Russell gave at my G-Grandpa’s funeral. I have many photos of John and Margaret Feehan Russell with the Tasker’s and Paul’s and in my research have come across several instances where Tasker and Paul siblings were referred to as nephews of the Russell’s. I have been unable to make that link and would be most appreciative of any information you may share.
