Sheffield family

SHEFFIELD, FULLER, MINER

For those who have been following the Bowen and Green threads, here are some stats for Martin Sheffield, brother to Paulina who married 1839 (1) Joseph Green then met 1851 (2) Hugh Bowen and married 1857 (3) John Adams :

Martin Sheffield shown in the 1870 census is brother of Paulina. He married a woman much younger: Fidelia Fuller married 10-20-1862. She was born 10-2-1840 Vernon, CT, died 3-26-1904 ND. Martin was born 3-22-1811 and died 2-11-1894 Payette, ND.

Parents are: John Sheffield and Anna Miner (Miner family of New England) who married 4-19-1804 in Chester, OH. Anna was born 4-13-1786 in Milton, NY and died 8-20-1845 IL. John was born 5-2-1779 in Genesee, NY and died 1826 in Chester, OH.
