Amos Roe

Please, am searching for information on the death of Amos Roe who died by drowning in the Waspsi River in 1862. Tradition says he was trying to save two small sons, who also drowned. Where were they buried? Do acccounts of the deaths exist?

Amos married Julia Faust. She later married Daniel Nussbaum.
