I am looking for a ancestor James Carey, He was born in Sparta, Indiania, came to Belluvue, Iowa, and later to Jones County where he supposedly settled in Scotch Grove Township, Any help or sending me in the right direction would be appreciated. He left Indiania in 1852 and came straight to Iowa. Hope this helps. Thanks again for any help.
