Robbery on Greyhound Bus

I am trying to find the story about when a Greyhound Bus was robbed at gunpoint on Route 80. My grandmother Hilda Garretts/Quine was a passenger destined for Nebraska. Some passengers stopped the bus at gunpoint and met some of their fellow robbers at a site. I am not sure of the date but the sheriff at the time was Maynard Schneider. If someone can give me a date or an idea on how I might locate this incident I would be very appreciative.
