We are heartbroken to announce that after a brave fight with ovarian cancer, our Jenny went home to the Lord on February 20, 2025.

Jenny was born on May 3, 1971, and grew up in Iowa City with her close-knit family, graduating from City High in 1989. She went onto work in our family flower business before earning her BS in Psychology. Jenny became a beloved member of the Orthopedic Administration Department at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Jenny's powerful love showered everyone she knew, and our loss is unimaginable. Her contagious laugh, and beautiful smile will forever be missed and always be remembered.

Jenny is survived by her children, Ashleigh, Emma, and Noah Seydel, all of Iowa City, her parents Don and Elaine Fink of Iowa City, her siblings Michele Fink-Shaffer and Jeff Fink, both of Iowa City, her nephew and niece's, Henry, Renée and Brooke Shaffer (Michele) all of Iowa City, and her loving friend Jason.

To honor and celebrate the life of Jenny, her family will greet friends on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Iowa City, where a service will begin at 11:00 AM followed by a light lunch.
