Will answer just one more time....not much help

Walnut, IOWA is a small town in Pottawatamie County
on the interstate 80 highway on western border of
Iowa

There is another small town of Swisher, Iowa in
Johnson County. It has a Jefferson township
near highway 380

Jefferson County Iowa has a Walnut township
where I had found the SWISHER family in the
1856 census (a younger brother born 1818 with
10 in that household)
