Potters of Fairfield IA

Looking for the family of Nathan POTTER that served with the 151 Infantry Regiment from Illinois in the Civil War. According to regiment records, he was from Fairfield IA. The regiment formed in 1865. He mustered out in Columbus GA. He came back to Springfield IL for his final pay with a bride from GA and settled in Macon Co. IL. Any help would be appreciated. - Pam
