Thank you, Mary snd Steven for your help. I guess that Agnes Szelangowska and Anton Shillingowski very likely were brother and sister. Until we find records from Poland we'll probably never know. There are clues, though. I belive Casper and Agnes Zielinski imm. from Poland in about 1868 as Martha was the last child born in Poland (1866). My wifes Grandfather, Stanley (aka Nicholas)was b.in Chicago in 1870, John also b. Chicago 1874. Their first child born in Polishville is Joseph, March 5, 1877. The patrons are Mathias Dryz and Maria Zelangowska (possibly Kasowski, wife of Anton?). I have Agnes (Szelangoska)Zielinski in the 1880 US census. She died between then and 1884 when Casper re-married. I wonder if she is buried in Polishville Cem as it only was established in 1883. Also, birth of Sophia (daughter of Anton and Constancya, his 2nd wife) Szelangowski, May 2, 1893. patrons are Josephine Szelangowski(Schraka?) and John Zielinski. Obviously there was a family relationship.
