Looking for information on the marriage of Oliver SMITH and Catherine CLINE. Married 10 Jul 1856, Abingdon, Jefferson co., Iowa. Hoping to find parents names of Oliver SMITH and his actual place of birth. According to the 1860 Iowa Census he was born abt 1835 in Indiana. Oliver disappeared about 1869 and believed to have died in Oregon before 1880. This is in accordance to the affidavit Catherine signed on the day she married Samuel SMITH, apparently no relation to Oliver.
