I have evidence of a probable marriage between my ggg-aunt, Mary Jane (or Jane) Snipes, and an unknown Leflar or Leffler, who was born in OH. This marriage was likely in Jefferson Co.,IA, approx. 1857, and either ended in divorce or her widowhood, after at least one son, Bion, was born ca 1858 in IA.
I don't know if the name of the unknown groom can be determined from the family sheets you have available, or if this is more research than you want to do for the cost mentioned. I would be most interested in any info on Leffler/Leflars in Jefferson Co. around 1854-1860--I will pay for whatever copies you make.
