Native American?-Swan Corey

Am looking for any info on Coreys living in Iowa in 1800s. My gg gma was half native am. Her name was Lorena Corey (Lorraine Cory?) who married David Andrew Broadstone in 1873. She would have been born around mid 1800s. I have found the name Swan Corey who died in 1883 in Jefferson Co. Swan was an indian name, Wa-Pa-Se. Could this possibly be a parent? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
