Hello Jan:
Fell Cemetery has no Quakers in it to my knowledge.
It is close to the village of Libertyville and every one in the area is buried there. The old part is in terrible shape, so many fallen and or broken stones.

What became of his wife Mary? Was her maiden name Waite as was published in the Iowa Genealogical Society Quarterly some year ago? Did she remarrry to a Mills? Where did she end up moving to? Die?

We would accept a family sheet for our Fairfield Library genealogy file drawer. In 30 yrs of answering letters had never researched Thomas and there are no Hughs or Hughes sheets in that file.

On the l856 census for Jefferson County noted he had been in Iowa for 2 years, and there were 6 people in his home.
