Mother Rolled On Child Causing Its Death Some Time In NightThe two months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles HOSKINS was smothered to death some time during the night last night, the mother having, in her sleep, rolled over on the child. It was not discovered until this morning when the grandmother of the child went to the bed and found her dead.
Verona Rosetta HOSKINS was two months and seven days old. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the C. C. LANAM home in charge of Rev. V. D. Melconian of the New Chicago Mission. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

The child's given name on the stone is Vivian but according to her obituary and death certificate, it is Verona. Also, she was born April 19, 1924, and died June 23, 1924... NOT in 1923 as the stone is engraved. She was the daughter of Charles J. and Corrine R. LANAM HOSKINS.
