Page THREE, Column 4Miss Anna B. HOLT Dies At Noon Today Rites Are Pending
Miss Anna B. HOLT, 78, passed away at 1 p.m. today in the Jefferson county hospital where she had been a patient since September 6. She had been in poor health for many months.
The body has been taken to the Hoskins funeral home to await word from nephews and nieces who reside in New Mexico and California.
Miss HOLT, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel HOLT, had lived in rooms at 703½ S. Sixth St. for the past 11 years. She was a member of the Congregational church for many years before she transferred her membership to the Presbyterian church. Her father was a custodian at the Congressional church before his death. Until ill health prevented her attending church, she was an active member.

Clarence JAMES, pastor of the Methodist church in Charles City, who assisted with the services, and his sister, Mrs. H. G. SCHMICKLEY, nee Margaret JAMES, of Jordan, Ia., who are the niece and nephew of Mrs. HOLT. Also attending was Harper JAMES of Beckwith. ...
