The infant son of John and Mary A. Batty died at Carbondale, Iowa, Wednesday, July 18. the remains were brought here Thursday evening followed by the family and friends, remaining till Friday, when after a service at the home of “Father and Mother” Batty at 9 a.m., with Elder J. T. Batty, of Utah, speaker, the remains were taken to Newton cemetery for interment in the lot with three brothers who preceded him.
