Sylvia F. Rauchenecker, 58, of Sabula, died Tuesday, April 6, 1993 at her home, of natural causes.

A graveside service was held Friday at Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL.

Mrs. Rauchenecker was born June 2, 1934, in Chicago, to Maximillan and Lottie Kamowski Achtabowski. She married Edwin Rauchenecker, Jan. 17, 1953, in Chicago. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Sabula. She had lived in the Sabula area since 1972.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Karen Rauchenecker of Joliet, Michelle Lawson of Yorba Linda, CA, Mrs. Mark (Julie) Coyle of Anaheim, CA, and Bonnie Thulen of Sabula; three sons, Michael of Clinton, Edwin K. of Sabula, and Keith of Fort Bragg, NC; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Bold of Chicago; and two brothers, Peter of Rolling Meadows, IL and Ronald of Las Vegas, NV.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and a sister.
