Pretty Wedding at
Springbrook

A pretty wedding g took place at Springbrook April 10 as Miss Eleanor Laffey and Imo Jackson took their nuptial vows at SS Peter and Paul’s Church before the Rev. P. J. Friedmann. A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Laffey, with immediate relatives as guests.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Jackson of Green Island and is a hustling young farmer who will take his bride to his home to a farm near Spragueville. Both are popular young people in the communities in which they live.

Those attending the wedding from away are the Rev. Paul Laffey of Davenport, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Jackson of Green Island and Mrs. Elmer Laffey of Maquoketa.
