I´m searching for Carl Peterson or origin name Carl Petri, born 1871 in Germany, small village named Odersberg in Hessen-Nassau or Hessen-Darmstadt or Prussia (old area names). In the area "Westerwald" (like rocky mountains in America, only smaler)
He depart in the year 1900, date 5/30/1900 from Bremen/Germany to Ellis Island, New York. I have found him on the website of Ellis Island. In 1900 he was 29 years old. He want to go to "Albany", but in familysearch I have found only a man with the name Carl Peterson, Germany.
He have married in 1901 in Tama/Iowa a woman with the name: Annie Jochims, his dorthers name is Eleanor Peterson. Excuse my bad English.
Have anyone heart of his Family.
Is Albany in the near?
