The funeral of Grandma Samec was held at the Holy Trinity Church, Saturday, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. The deceased was 94 years of age and leaves to mourn her loss four children, Mrs. John Polansky, John and Frank residing west of here, and Mrs. Barbara Jilma, of Cresco.

Mrs. Barbara Jilma and Mr. and Mrs. John Vokaty, of Cresco, attended the funeral here Saturday of Grandma Samec.

Transcriber’s Note: Holy Trinity Cemetery shows Anna Samcova who was born in 1836 and died July 17, 1919. Her gravestone also shows the name Samec, however, it shows she was born in 1836 which does not agree with the above stated age.
