The remains of Mike Quinn, a former resident of this vicinity, was brought to Cresco on Tuesday afternoon for burial, interment taking place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The deceased was born in Illinois but spent most of his life northeast of Cresco on a farm in Winneshiek County. A few years ago he moved to Monticello, Minn., but for several weeks had been a patient in a hospital in Minneapolis where his death occurred. His remains were accompanied to Cresco by a son and daughter who live in Monticello James Quinn, of Cresco, is a brother of the deceased.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Nov 1855 and is buried in Calvary Cresco Cemetery.
