John Swenson was called to Longmont, Cal., on Saturday last, by the serious illness of his mother, Mrs. Loren Swenson. Since that time his wife has received a message telling of the death of his mother, which probably occurred before Mr. Swenson arrived in California. The remains, which will be brought back to Cresco for burial, are expected to arrive Friday night.
Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Anna who was born Jan. 1847 and died July 28, 1919. She is buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery. It also shows her husband was Lorens Swenson.
