RIDGEWAY - Jolene Marie Lammers, age 65, of Ridgeway, Iowa passed away August 10, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN after a short battle with cancer.
Jolene was born May 27, 1959 in Cresco, Iowa to the late Charles and Myrtle “Ilene” Larson. She was the youngest of three children and grew up on the farm in Chester, Iowa.
She was blessed to be a wonderful mother to four children and grandmother to two granddaughters. She loved her time with them at her farm, on trips and at their events. Her dog, Bella, was her pride and joy.
Everyone loved her smile and hugs as she greeted them. She cared so much about all of her family and friends.
She had the best gardens and really enjoyed her job at G It’s Fresh Greenhouse. Her porch visits with family and friends were a favorite way for her to spend time.
She was a loving and caring person who almost always had a smile on her face. She always thought of others first. “To know her was to love her.”
Those left to cherish her loving memory include her children: Lisa (Jason) Peterson of rural Hanska, MN, Stacy (Nathan) Shaw of rural Morristown, MN, Stephanie Lammers of Lakeville, MN and Jeremy Lammers of Woodbury, MN, granddaughters Cora and Ivy Shaw, brother John (Rhonda) Larson, uncle Stanley Larson, eight nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
