Last Wednesday evening at 6:30 o’clock in Cresco at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. Evans, occurred the marriage of their daughter Pearl Gwen to Philip J. Todd of this place. The wedding was a quiet one, only the immediately relatives of the family being present. Mrs. Todd is well known to our people, having for four years been cashier at the Alliance store in Cresco. She is a young lady of refinement and culture. Mr. Todd grew to manhood in our community and is a young man of sterling character. They will make their home on the Mrs. Jno. Todd farm north of Kendallville. Mr. and Mrs. Todd have the best wishes of their many friends in and around Kendallville.
