Eric Heller rites set for Friday

Infant son of Steven and Vivian Heller of Forest City, Eric S. Heller, died Saturday at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Eric Steven Heller was born Friday morning at Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt. A few hours after his birth, he was transported by Life Flight helicopter to Des Moines. Saturday, he was transferred to University Hospitals in Iowa City for heart surgery where he died.

He is survived by his parents, Steven and Vivian Braadland Heller of Forest City and his grandparents, Kenneth and Florence Heller of Garner and Merle and Marge Braadland of De Soto, Wis.

Funeral services for Eric have been set for 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Petersen Funeral home. The Rev. Steven Dornbusch, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran church, will officiate.

Casket bearers will be Paul Heller, William Braadland, Jerry Reynolds and Wendell Watson. Burial will be in Madison Township cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Petersen Funeral home beginning at 10 Thursday.
