John Tlach
1921-1989Services for John Tlach, 68, Britt, who died Sunday, Nov. 12, 1989 at his home in Britt, were held Tuesday, Nov. 14, 10:30 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Duncan with Rev. Dale Rausch officiating.
Music was provided by Mary Kopacek, organist, who accompanied the St. Wenceslaus Church Choir. Ushers were Leonard Rayhons and John Zrostlik.
Casket bearers were George Tlach, George Tusha, Ron Kumsher, Jerry Tlach, Gene Yezek and Tim Tusha.
Burial was at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Duncan with Ewing Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
John Tlach, the son of Frank and Mary Yezek Tlach, was born August 29, 1921 on the family farm near Britt. He attended the country schools. He spent his entire life on the family farm and enjoyed cattle farming.
He is survived by one sister, Hildreth Tlach of Britt.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
