Walter W. Woiwood and Selma S. Katter were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Katter in Liberty township last Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev C. A. Schmid officiating. About forty relatives were present to witness the ceremony. The bride and groom were attended by Sophia Katter and Otto Woiwood, Selma Boehnke and Henry Katter. The bride’s wedding dress was cream white taffeta and georgette. The bridesmaids were in old rose, the groom and best ment in blue black. The wedding ceremony was performed under an arch of pink and white, and the dining room was draped in blue and white. Following the ceremony and elaborate luncheon was served, and in the evening a reception was given at which 80 guests were present. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Katter, and comes from one of the finest families in Hancock County. She is an accomplished young woman, loved and respected by many acquaintances. The groom is from one of the wealthy families living northeast of Garner. They start in life with every prospect the brightest. The Signal joins their many friends in extending best wishes.
