Miss Beverly E. Compton, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Compton, of this city, and Mr. Allen H. Knight, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Knight, also of this city, were married yesterday noon at the parsonage of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church.
The Rev. Father F.J. Frein officiated, using the single ring service.
Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wehrheim.
The bride wore a pretty white military suit with accessories in white. She carried a bouquet of sweet-peas. Mrs. Wehrheim wore a tan suit with accessories to harmonize and carried a bouquet of sweet-peas and snapdragons.
Mr. and Mrs. Knight drove to Fort Dodge yesterday, returning later in the evening. They plan to live in an apartment in the 1100 block on Second street.
Mrs. Knight is a member of the class of 1934 of Lincoln high school. She attended the American Institute of Business at Des Moines and has been employed in Webster City for the past several months.
Mr. Knight graduated from Lincoln high in 1934 also an is employed as bookkeeper at the city hall.
