Miss Dorothy Manion entertained at a shower on Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.B. White, honoring Mrs. Fred Klaver.

Those enjoying the occasion were: Mrs. Henry Detmer and daughter, Esterlene, Miss Ruth Whiteford, Misses Dorothy and Virginia Manion, Miss Dorothy Cormaney, Mrs. R.B. White, Mrs. J.H. Ferrell and Mrs. H.G. Klaver and Miss Minnie, and Miss Bonnie Lupes, of Webster City.

The main feature of entertainment was a mock wedding with Bonnie Lupes as bride, Ruth Whiteford as bridegroom, Virginia Manion, pastor, and Minnie Klaver as ring bearer. Miss Dorothy Manion played the wedding march on a piano accordion. It was carried out in a humorous manner and furnished merriment for the guests.

The bride, Mrs. Klaver, was presented with many beautiful gifts, and dainty refreshments were served at the close of the afternoon by Mr. White, assisted by Mrs. J. H. Ferrell.
