Coons-Caruth Marriage Celebrated

The announcement of the marriage of Miss Evelyn Coons to Mr. Leonard Caruth, both of Blairsburg, reached this office today.

The ceremony was solemnized at the Christian parsonage in this city last Saturday with Rev. Manson E. Miller officiating. Only the immediate families of the couple were present.

Following the ceremony a sumptuous dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Coons, living near Blairsburg. She is a graduate of the Blairsburg high school, later taking a course of normal training at Iowa Falls. During the past year she has been engaged in teaching.

Mr. Caruth is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Caruth, living southeast of Blairsburg. He is also a graduate of the Blairsburg high school and is engaged in farming. After an auto trip to Chicago, Mendota and Bloomington, Ill., Mr. Caruth and his bride will be at home on a farm near Blairsburg.

They have a host of friends who wish them a long and prosperous wedded life.
