On Wednesday July 18, 1917 at high noon occurred the marriage of Miss Ethel Chesshir to L. Coe Sayre, at the home of the bride's parents.

Rev. W.L. Spiker officiating. The wedding was a quite [sic] one only the bride's home folks, and parents of the groom were present. The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Chesshir. Both of these young people are well and favorably known here. They left Wednesday afternoon on a short honeymoon trip to Des Moines.

They will go to housekeeping in the home which the groom has prepared, and will be at home to their many friends after August 18, '17.

The Enterprise joins in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Sayre best wishes.
