Miss Mamie Van Eaton and Mr. Homer Burcham Marriage

Blairsburg, Iowa, Sept 3, (Special)-- Miss Mamie Van Eaton, of Waterloo, and Mr. F Homer Burcham, of this place, were united in marriage at the Little Brown church at Nashua, Tuesday morning. The marriage vows were read by the Rev. McCorlson, pastor of the church.

The young people were attended by Miss Lorene Sweet, of Riceville, and Mr. Wert Van Easton, of Waterloo, brother of the bride.

Immediately following the wedding they returned to Waterloo, where a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents, Mrs. Burcham is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Van Eaton of Waterloo.

Mrs Burchan is a graduate of the Waterloo High school and the State Teachers college at Cedar Falls. For the past two years she was the primary teacher in the local school, where she has won a host of friends with her pleasing personality.

Mr. Burchan is the second son of F. H. Burcham and has grown to young manhood here, where he was graduated from the local high school with the class of 1925. He also attended business college at Fort Dodge. For the past two years he has been engaged in farming with his father.

Mr. and Mrs. Burcham motored to Des Moines on a short honeymoon trip, returning here Friday evening where they will be at home on the F.H. Burcham farm three miles north of town.

Their many friends will join in extending congratulations for a happy and prosperous wedded life.
