also, harry ivan day's dad was named harry and they were in haverhill mass, as i was reading an email from harry ivan day's niece who has written to me about the artist common thread and name. . . this harry day had three kids - harry ivan, yann patrick and martha jane. . . i'll paste that email now....

That is pretty odd, My Grandfather also was Harry Day who met my Grandmother in Haverhill Mass. That is where they grew up, although the Day family had originally settled in Maine, I believe Bethel??? maybe? So, last I knew there was a Great Uncle Waldo who is still alive, and may still be living in the Haverhill Mass area.My Grandfather evidently had invented the photo finish for the race track, and had an airplane hanger at Flushing Meadows when my dad was ~4. Yes my Grandfather knew Charles Lindburg, and my dad sat in the Spirit of St Louis before the epic journey. Looking at your art work does remind me of some of my Uncle "Bud" (as we would call him)From what I have grown to understand that part of my heritage was a bit of a wild one.
My Grandmother did divorce Harry back in the 40's but always loved him. When she was on her death bed she was calling for Harry. Their life together was filled with pain and money issues. In the middle of the depression Harry made a large lump of money but squandered it on another woman....making life tough for their kids: Harry I Day, Yann Patrick Day (my dad) , and Martha Jane Day Lippert.
