My gr,grand father the Reverend Jacob Baker and his family arrrived in Fremont Co, IA. in July of 1853. He took over a claim of two 78 acre parcels of land near Anderson . He and wife Marry Ann died two days apart of the flu on March 1 and 2 I894. They are both buried in the much neglected Parsley Cemetery about 4 miles north east of Sidney. Since he was a Methodist minister, I am hoping to find a photo of him and his wife and or children. I have one photo of my gr, grandother May Ann Chesney Baker. Their youngest child, Samuel Schwartz Baker was born in 1855, one of the first white babies born in Fremont county, My baker line goes back to David Baker a German emigrant who arrived in America about 1745.
