I have exhausted my sources looking for Wallace Clinton Johnson. I think he was born abt. 1882 in Sidney.I know he was married at least two times. First to Ava (?Ara) Cowger (?Cowser) and then to a person with the first name Blanche who, evidently, later married a guy named William Wrage. I have been unable to locate a marriage or death certificate for either Wallace or Ava nor a census that lists Wallace and Ava together.
Wallace and Ava had three sons, Merle b. abt.1905, Clyde b. abt. 1907 and Eugene b. abt.1909.
Ava (Ara) is with her mother Mary Cowser in the 1910 Fed.census in Freemont CO., Riverton, IA, along with the boys.
The 1920 Census shows the boys with Blanche and a new husband in Omaha, NE. Apparently Ava (Ara)seems to be missing or dead.
What little info I have comes from Wallace's grandson, now 79 yrs. old. It would mean a great deal to him if I could locate info on his grandfather and grandmother prior to his own demise.
Please help me make this old man very happy.
Sincerely,
Ray Lack
