WILLIAM ELLISON OBITUARY
This community was saddened last week by the passing of William Ellison. Mr. Ellison had been under doctor's care for the past several months, suffering from a heart and kidney ailment, but had been able to be up and about his work until two days before his death. He lived his entire life in and near Watson and in his passing the community has lost a respected citizen and friend.
William Henry Ellison, the eldest son of Jane and Charlie Ellison, was born June 26, 1890 and passed away Sept. 18, 1950, at the age of 60 years, 2 months and 22 days. He was united in marriage to Essie Murdock, who preceded him in death and was later married to Laura Smith, who survives him. He is also survived by three brothers, John of Fairfax, Charles of Watson and Glen of San Diego, California; four sisters, Mrs. Flossie Ellison of St. Louis, Mrs. Addie Anderson of Hamburg, Mrs. Vivian Hill of Denver and Mrs. Izola Benedict of Omaha. His parents and baby sister preceded him in death.
