Rick. I see that Familysearch link for the Fayette County Court probates but has no Lynch. I searched there for days. Nothing.
I also have notice from the Fayette County genealogy board about the will filing in 1867 with Matthew's children and a Patrick and Charles as witnesses and a Patrick as Executor.
I would like to know if there is any info on who Patrick is. Are there 2 Patrick at filing ? Can a executor be a witness and a ececutor at the same time? Maybe even a copy of doc.Don Lynch is visiting Waucoma in May but you know how us researchers are. He will go to West Union to search the Fayette County records for the Lynch family. I really am on the trail and would like to solve the mystery before May. Like today. Ha !
There are so more records there that I am interested it. Matthew's naturalization. Bartholomew's land grant for the Mexican War in Fayette County. And a marriage license for Peter Burns to Mary Anne Lynch in 1866 in Fayette County. Any mention of his parents name.
siblings names whould be helpful. I though maybe someone in West Union or Waucamo would do a look uo for me if they had some spare time. Boy that would be great huh ?
So at this point I am stuck going forward and backwards to Ireland until I find additional information. I do appreciate you quick reply Rick.
I anyone could help me please reply to me at petert1@westelcom.com
Thanks again Peter
