I am trying to find an article which I was told appears in the 1891 Portrait and Biographical Album of Fayette Co., IA on George Kirkpatrick, born 1790, served in War of 1812, father of Rebecca, Joseph, Andrew, Hannah, Elizabeth, John, MaryAnn and James. However, Kirkpatrick is not a name which appears in the index for the 1891 Portrait. I see in the History of Eldorado, Fayette Co., IA, that John Newman Kirkpatrick appears on page 3, as does A.B. Kirkpatrick. Searching for any information on John Newman Kirkpatrick or A.B. Kirkpatrick. Would appreciate your help...many thanks, Helen Weary
