Berener Nelson Homesite

I am interested in learning the location of Berener Nelson farm near Elgin, Iowa in 1875. This was the site of my great grandfather's wedding on 9 July 1875. The groom was Lars Pederson from Nore,Numedal and the bride was Marit Nelson from Rendal Hedmark. Berener was the bride's brother.

Berener Nelson came to Iowa about 1869 and went first to Clermont Iowa where he stayed for a while. Then he either rented or purchased land near Elgin, Iowa where the wedding took place.

I would like to find a plat map showing the location of his land in 1875 if available. Berener later settled in Marion Township near Gunder, Iowa and lived there until his death about 1928.
