James Downing Edwards, age 23 next birthday, was married to Maude Clarice Baker, age 20 next birthday, on November 8, 1905 according to Return of Marriage recorded in Fayette County. His parents were listed as Clarence D. Edwards and S. Ida Lowe. Her parents are listed as Frank Baker and Eddea Sautag. Married in Oelwein by Geo. H. Kennedy, Minister of the Gospel. Both bride and groom residents of Vinton, Iowa where he was a laborer. Hope this helps!!
