Petersen family history

I am looking for information on my Petersen family ancestors. I know the names of my great-great grandparents...Peter C Petersen and Christiana Karen (or spelled Christina)
The birth date I have is 8-23-1963 to 1948. Not sure which it belongs to or how accurate the date.
They were born in Denmark, lived and died in Ringsted, Emmet Co, IA I have recorded 9 children...Again not sure if spelling is correct but do have some dob's. Christian, Martha K, Earl, Anna Dorthea (went by Dorothy), Neils (or Nels),Martha L, Frances Elenora, and Robert R...all born in Ringsted area.
