Hi Patrick.
I just asked my parents re: your query. My Mother was born & raised in Dubuque (Cathedral, '51 & St. Joe's, '55) and my Father went to Loras College ('58). Do you remember the Strand & The Varsity, up on the hill? How about Diamond's Grill? My Mother remembers the places Kathy made reference to.

You might have known some of my Mother's family. The Murphy family from 3rd Street and later they moved to Burch Street. There were 5 girls and 1 boy, John, who also went to Loras academy around the same time as you.
