Sorry for the confusion.. The family history says Simon died because they lost track of him. That family history comes from Thoams, Simon's brothers side of the family.
Simon moved to South Dakota with part of his family, however not the girls. Simon and William bought considerable land parcesl , and sold them, making a good amount of money. I know the history from there, as William is mygreat grandfather. I am thinking that perhaps William Josephs wife died and he and his father moved, maybe the girls were sent to live with Bridget's sister Catherine.. I'm just really curious abouut them and any remaining family members.
