Preseller is a common name in the town of Mosonszolnok in Hungary. So I would guess that the name would come to America intact. A number of immigrants from Mosonszolnok did settle in Iowa. I just did some viewing of the old church records from that town last night searching another surname, Bestenlehner, whose family settled in the Algoma, Iowa area. So perhaps your ancestor moved on to a settlement with people from the Burgenland area of Hungary, such as Algoma, or St. Paul, MN, or even Stevens Point, WI.
Dyersville, Iowa and surrounding small towns was settled primarily by German people from small towns in the Oldenburg province, and Hannover areas of Germany. So it would be a bit strange for a German-speaking Hungarian to settle among these clans. I have done extensive research on my German branches of the family that settled in and around Dyersville, so I also know that area very well.
If you can provide me as much info on the Preseller name, relatives, birth, death, and marriage dates as you have, I can run up to the local LDS library and research the church records of Mosonszolnok again. I am sure I can find your Preseller connection in those records.
Just shoot me an e-mail.
